HOPE IS NEVER LOST. That’s the idea behind The Salvation Army’s Napa Valley Culinary Training Program—a program that welcomes people who have struggled with homelessness and substance abuse, and gives them a unique opportunity.

Our goal is to raise important funds for both our Culinary Academy Student program and our kitchen. Our kitchen, which has been in full operation and overburdened since the fires of 2017, is in need of an overhaul and upgrade. Since March of 2020, in response to COVID-19 and the LNU/Glass Mountain fires, Napa Salvation Army’s chef Paul Fields and the Culinary Training Academy students have prepared and distributed over 165,000 meals to Napa residents and frontline workers. This kitchen has been put to the test and is on the brink of not being able to support the continued community needs. Your support will allow us to invest in new equipment including a multifunctional 40 gallon manual tilt braiser, a 10 burner gas range and oven, a 6 burner gas range and oven, and an 8 pan alto-shaam.
