This year we will be honoring Elijah Hicks.
Elijah is an American football safety for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League.
He played college football for UC Berkeley's Bears and was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Elijah was chosen for The Salvation Army's Volunteer of the Year award for his exceptional philanthropy through his foundation,
Intercept Poverty, whose goal is to empower low income students to focus on school without worrying about financial roadblocks.
